Aladdin

Will Smith's reveal as the genie in this movie was nightmare fuel, but it actually turned out quite well.  What big name in Hollywood has more charisma?  I'll wait.  It's quite faithful to the animated film with a couple new songs that aren't nearly as inspired, but hey, they tried.  I was entertained.

Joker

I paid $7 to watch this which seems unheard of these days, but I was eagerly anticipating it's release.  It's a scary movie, but not in the senses one would normally determine a movie as "scary".  This movie is about mental health and one mans spiral to insanity where murder gives him the sense of acceptance that he oh so craves.  It all seems very plausible.  My only gripe is that it glamorizes this insanity, I'm not sure if we're supposed to be rooting for Joker here, but if you did, I have some concerns.  I was entertained.
