Maxed Out

Look, I don't think it's right that these credit card companies and big banks can charge 25%+ interest rates, but the documentarian wants me to feel sorry for these people, and he almost had me convinced ... that was until the sad story of a poor little old ladies house which was soon to be foreclosed on. She had to sell many of her 500+ collector plates (think Elvis, cats, unicorns etc), her daughters frog collectibles, oh, and her strawberry collectibles "just to make ends meet" ... hmmm... personal responsibility people. I wonder how her and the guy who had a gimmick ab exerciser for his dog got into financial trouble in the first place? It's a decent documentary, but just take it as opinion and not gospel.
