Prince of Persia: Sands of Time

I do not like fantasy movies. I played the Prince of Persia games and enjoyed them, I can handle fantasy in my games but not in my movies. I think that's because I never really envelop myself in the story of a video game. With movies however I really like to escape and forget that what I'm watching is a production. I found that impossible to do with the Prince of Persia. I never stopped thinking "this is a movie". The effects were downright poor at times which didn't help the cause, the plot was overcomplicated, and even though Bruckheimer doesn't write the stuff, I feel most of his movies "try to hard". The Prince is no exception. Not recommended.
